1. Site survey
Before anything gets quoted or ordered, we measure the actual shaft, or the space available for one, check access routes for getting equipment in, and confirm the site's structurally ready. 2. Civil work (if needed)
If a shaft doesn't already exist, this is usually the longest single phase of the whole project. Excavation for the pit, structural columns, and shaft walls all need to be built and properly cured before equipment installation can even start, and rushing this stage tends to cause problems that surface much later.
3. Equipment delivery and erection
Guide rails, cabin frame, motor, and controller get installed in sequence. This phase actually moves pretty fast once civil work is complete and everything's on site and ready to go, assuming there haven't been any delays in equipment delivery or customs clearance for imported components.
4. Wiring and commissioning
Electrical connections, control system programming, and calibration of doors, sensors, and levelling all happen here, followed by internal testing before anyone signs off on it. 5. Inspection and handover
Where required, a statutory safety inspection confirms the installation actually meets code before the lift goes into public use. Handover includes documentation, a walkthrough with your team, and the start of your warranty period, so make sure someone from your side is actually present for this rather than just signing off on paperwork later.
